  • Profile Photo (optional)
  • Golf Round Participation (RSVP responses)
  • Handicap Index and GHIN Number
  • Golf Performance Data — hole-by-hole scores, gross and net totals, Stableford points, and skins results entered during live scoring sessions

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with any third parties outside of the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information only to:

  • Send text message invitations and reminders about upcoming golf rounds
  • Manage RSVP responses
  • Group players and coordinate tee times
  • Display real-time leaderboards and skins results to other participants in the same game
  • Calculate and display game results, payouts, and historical performance

By participating in a game with live scoring, your name and golf scores will be visible to other members of the group on leaderboards and results pages.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard tools and encrypted channels. We do not store any sensitive financial or health-related information.

4. SMS Communication

We use Twilio to send and receive text messages. By using TheYuck.golf, you consent to receive SMS messages related to golf event coordination. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by texting STOP to +1 (856) 215-5967.

5. Your Rights

You may delete your account and all associated data directly from the app under Profile → Delete Account. You may also request removal of your personal data at any time by contacting us at jeff@theyuck.golf.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at TheYuck.golf and include an updated effective date.

TheYuck.golf is a private tool for managing and coordinating golf outings among friends. It replaces messy group texts with a clean scheduling interface and automated SMS invites.

2. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
  • Provide accurate contact information.
  • Respect other users and not abuse messaging features.

3. SMS Consent

By using this Service, you agree to receive golf-related SMS messages from TheYuck.golf. To stop receiving messages, simply text STOP to +1 (856) 215-5967.

4. Limitation of Liability

We aim for reliable operation, but TheYuck.golf is offered “as is.” We are not liable for delays, delivery failures, incorrect tee times, or missed birdie putts. Use at your own discretion.
